GENERAL INFO
Performances:
Recital dates/times: Saturday, May 9th, 2020 at 11:00AM and 4:00PM.
Students are in one or two shows. Some classes are assigned to more than one show to accommodate family members and students that take multiple classes. We make the schedule so that most families can buy tickets to one show where all family members can be seen. This often results in your class being in multiple shows.
Dress Rehearsals:
Dress Rehearsals will be scheduled on Friday, May 8th and/or Saturday, May 9th (before the show) at Windham High School Performing Arts Center. You will be assigned a day and time.
Recital Ticket Charges:
All audience members must purchase a ticket. Dancers wishing to see any part of the performance from the audience must also have a ticket and be fully changed into street clothing. Reserved recital tickets are available online through our software and at the studio during regular class hours. Ticket prices are $16 plus processing fees online, $16 without fees at the front desk, cash or check. Students and their families are invited to watch dress rehearsals free of charge.
Recital Pictures & Video:
A professional photographer will take class pictures April 27th-29th at Maine Dance Center's studios (Saturday classes are usually scheduled to come on Wednesday afternoon/evening - April 29th, 2020). Individual poses are also taken at the request of each student(s). The fee for these picture orders is set by the photographer and paid directly to him. Students are not required to purchase pictures, but they should still plan on being in the class photo. Recital dances will be rehearsed in costume in Maine Dance Center's studios that week as well.
A videographer takes videos of recital and makes DVD's available for purchase. Parents may video and photograph recital dress rehearsals. Due to its distracting nature, parents may not video or photograph recital performances.
