Attire/Dress Code
What a dancer wears to class is important not just for aesthetics and instilling professionalism, it is first and foremost so our teachers can give the best instruction possible and keep our students safe. If a dancer comes to class not dressed appropriately, a staff member will send them home with a slip reminding them/the parent/the guardian of what they should wear.

Below we have two dress code options for each style of dance depending on gender identification.
Kids Classes
Creative Movement/Dance with Me: Sug-fitting attire (leotard and tights is ideal), ballet shoes.
Ballet/Tap: snug-fitting attire (leotard and tights is ideal), ballet and tap shoes.
Tumble Tots: Leotard or t-shirt and shorts or leggings - bare feet.

Hair pulled back in a ponytail or bun.
Jazz
Leotard, tights or athletic bottoms, tan or black jazz shoes, hair pulled back in a clean bun or ponytail.
OR
Athletic top, athletic bottoms, tan or black jazz shoes, hair pulled back.

Broadway Bound
Leotard, tights or athletic bottoms, tan or black jazz shoes, hair pulled back in a clean bun or ponytail.
OR
Athletic top, athletic bottoms, tan or black jazz shoes, hair pulled back.
Ballet
Dance leotard (colors acceptable), pink tights, hair pulled back in a clean bun. Leather or canvas ballet shoes (or pointe shoes).
OR
Snug-fitted white t-shirt, black tights, black ballet shoes, hair pulled back in a bun.
Lyrical
Leotard, tights or athletic bottoms, hair pulled back in a clean bun or ponytail, lyrical paw shoes.
OR
Athletic top, athletic bottoms, lyircal paws, hair pulled back.

Acro
Leotard, tights or athletic bottoms, bare feet, hair pulled back in a clean low bun.
OR
Snug-fitting athletic clothing, hair pulled back, bare feet.
Tap
Leotard, athletic bottoms, hair pulled back in a clean bun or ponytail, tap shoes.
OR
Athletic top, athletic bottoms, hair pulled back, tap shoes.

Contemporary
Leotard, tights or athletic bottoms, bare feet, hair pulled back from face.
OR
Athletic top, athletic bottoms, hair pulled back, bare feet.
Hip Hop
Loose-fitting clothes and clean sneakers that have never been worn outside. Hair pulled back.
